April 1, 2013 – BARF World Inc. (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) has today confirmed it is conducting a voluntary recall of three of its raw frozen dog food products due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria.

The company is recalling the following three products:
 BARF Lamb Patties
 BARF Combo Patties
 BARF Combo Patties (bulk package)

All three products share the same “Use By” date of July 27, 2013.

What to Do?

Consumers who find they have a recalled product at their home are advised to dispose of the product in a safe manner (i.e. in a securely covered trash receptacle).

They may also contact Christopher Hampson at 866-282-2273 to request a replacement or a refund. According to the company…

“In the meantime, you can go ahead and continue feeding any other bags of the BARF Diet that you have in stock.”
